We have started putting pictures of all players as you send them to us
or as we find them in various tourney events or The Board Talk, etc. If we
don't find a player on the latest rating sheet, we will add them to this
page. Some players probably have local ratings for where they play, but
maybe don't play out-of-town major tourneys, so may not be on the
BOWERS Rating (unless a rater turns in their name when they submit their
periodic ratings).

Dec. '98 and are not on the ratings:
Heflin, Don (took a 1st in A/B/C draw
with Tim Nugent & Frank Schnarrs - there's no player named Don Heflin
on the 4/99 ratings - there are two Heflin's from Oregon on the
ratings, Dick Heflin and Ken Heflin, but no DON HEFLIN). Is there
a name mistake in the tourney winners name or is this winner notated yet?
The following played at Blinky's Presidential Day Tourney (Santa Clara, CA)
in Feb. '99 and are not on the ratings or not identifiable as on the
ratings:
Bonita (last name unknown) (came in 2nd place w/
Stevie Parks,
and she has since moved (where, not known) and is not on the ratings.
NOTE: Next rating submission, we need to change Sheri Bussey to Shari Bussey
Hudson (last name has changed and 1st name misspelled on the ratings)??
